In winning the lottery we expect people to have a good time, but some people have reported having troubled times. Money is energy that gets things done in physical reality. People get crowded because of the influx of money and might fall into habits that they had walked out of.

People said they have experienced strained relationships because of the influx of money, but giving donations made them feel better. The best advice is let the money sit somewhere for about six months and start investments to avoid scams and exploitation. Many people after winning the lottery live miserable lives, some have strained relationships.

It is more important to be conscious of what you want, when there is an influx of money most times we do not think about our goals. Our goals give us direction and vision. Thus when we get the influx, we ought to take a moment and get the skills set needed to handle the influx and fulfill our goals. Wattles Wattles in Science of Getting Rich speaks about consciousness relating to money, becoming conscious about what it is you want and being able to, in a mindful way, put the energy toward it.

In order to make a difference we have to stop and make clear decisions first we make mindful of our money, instead of allowing ourselves to spend on leaks or donating to charities or things we care about. Money is energy and thus we need mindfulness when it comes to relationships with money.

One way to establish leaks is to journal even if it is a week and see how you are spending your money.  Once you establish the obstacles then you can be able to learn, what Dr. Maria says in this episode is when you get an influx of money, where is the time to learn? Until you can step back enough to see what you want to do with this energy.
